It can be hard
To learn to let go
These are the experiences
That cause us to grow

Stripping us down
Until there is nothing left
Confronted with the fears
We hold about death

Where do we go
Where are we from
And why do we wander
Feeling so numb

The depth of emotion
And the depth of feeling
Can skyrocket our anxiety
And have us reeling

Sometimes it’s hard
For us to see
Our own beliefs
So that we can be free

To let go of the chains
That keep us bound
To anchor ourselves
So that we can ground

To see the world
As just material
Is ignoring spirit
And the realms ethereal

There is so much that exists
Beyond what we can see
Yet we keep ourselves trapped
And limit all we can be

For generations we’ve been trained
To disconnect
Instead of taking the time
To sit and reflect

What does it truly
Mean to die
Is everything I’ve been told
Actually a lie

There are so many beliefs
So many religions
All vying for power
And creating divisions

What you choose to believe
Is up to you
You are the one
Who determines what is true

Your reality is created
Through your belief
And you have the power
To let go of the grief

To let go of the pain
To let go of the tears
And have the courage
To face your fears

It can be hard
When you feel so alone
But where your soul resides
This is home

The eternal place
The everlasting seed
Will fill you with grace
And give all you need

To help you rise
Like the stars in the night
You were created
Through the beauty of the light

This is the essence
Of all creation
All matter is formed
Through the laws of vibration

So while you’re here
Why not do your best
To live a life of peace
And know you are blessed

You are here to experience
To create the new
And you get to decide
What is really true

Ask yourself
If you need to hold on
What if you let go
Would all hope be gone

Lost in a well
Of eternal despair
Know that hope
Is always there

And when you’re ready
To choose to let go
