We are the dragons that fly
And roam the skies
You do not see us
For we are disguised

We need to remain hidden
And out of sight
But we can still guide you
To do what is right

Within all beings
Lies a cosmic connection
Trust in the guidance
And change your direction

How can we learn
To change our attitude
So that we can learn to focus
On finding gratitude

For all the teachers
That we may find
So that we can let go
Of these chains that bind

If someone leaves your life
They do so for a reason
Allow yourself to flow
Like the change of the seasons

Unfold with grace
At the blooming of Spring
And trust that the Mother
Will take you under her wing

To show you what it is
You need to see
To let go of the pain
So that you can be free

Know all these expectations
And judgements you hold
Are the very same thoughts
Keeping you out in the cold

All you want
Is loving connection
But all you feel
Is pain and rejection

Know that the anger
And resentment must die
Before you can see
That it’s all a lie

How many times
Has this story repeated
How often in your life
Do you feel mistreated

Like others can never
Make the bar
And when they go
There is another scar

We blame them
For not treating us
The way we deserve
And we put up a fuss

But are they really
The ones to blame
When we drown ourselves
In endless shame

Always feeling
Like we are the victim
Just remember
You’re the one that picked him

And when he didn’t
Meet expectations
All it brought on
Was all these frustrations

All you wanted
Was to feel connected
And all you felt
Was let down and dejected

Do you think you’re the first one
Who’s been let down
With a heart full of tears
Just left to drown

Why does it seem
Like you know a guy
Only to question
If it was all a lie

Why does it feel
Like there is no one to trust
With relationships ending
In anger and disgust

Look at the one
Who chooses to judge
Who plants her feet
And will no longer budge

Be like the river
And embrace the flow
The Goddess will take you
Beyond what you know

But she cannot seep
Into the cracks
Until you learn
To wield the axe

And cut yourself
From these binding roots
So that you can sprout
Some brand new shoots

Learn and grow
From the experiences you face
And you will learn
To transform with grace

Into the beautiful being
That you truly are
Remember you are created
From the light of the stars

Guiding you
Like the constellations above
They will teach you
Unconditional love

So that you can give others
The freedom to be
By doing this
You will come to see

How you can let go
Of the need to be right
And focus your energy
On shining the light

To be who you
Were born to be
Let go of the pain
And set yourself free

You are the one
Holding the chains
You are the one
Guiding the reins

Don’t be afraid
To change how you live
Your love and your courage
Are in you to give

And now it is time
For us to rise
Even when we feel
Like a part of us dies

Let the ashes of the old
Create the new
Rise like the phoenix
And find what is true

Is this all
Just a reflection of the mind
Have we been spending our lives
Walking around blind

To the spirit that lies
In all of creation
Learn to see this
And end the frustration

Life doesn’t have to be
A grinding road
It’s OK for you
To put down the load

And let go of all
The expectations you hold
Know that true wealth
Is a heart of gold

From here you will manifest
All that you need
By sharing the love
You are planting the seed

In the hearts of people

Celebrate and rejoice
As the serpent is unfurled

Activating the energy
In all of the bodies
As the world is bathed
In the light of samadhi

Opening us up
To our true form
It is from Source
That we are born

The eternal spark
The everlasting flame
Allow it to dissolve
All of the blame

So that you can become
Who you were born to be
You will let go of judgement
And learn to be free

From all the distractions
And the mental chatter
So that you can focus
On what really matters

And use your energy
To create the change
Trust that the universe
Will begin to rearrange

All the pieces
Where they need to fit
Even when it feels
Like you want to quit

No one said
That the journey was easy
Sometimes all you feel
Is sick and queasy

Learn to find balance
And share your affection
For the ones who matter most
And create the connection

The soul fulfillment
That you want to feel
Will only come
When you let yourself heal

From all the wounding
And pain of the past
Embrace opportunity
The universe is vast

To fulfilling your needs

To pull the weeds
