Why I Created The Soul Seekers Book Series...
When I decided to write my first book Unity I had just purchased a massive candle quartz. I had spent almost all the money I had on it and had saved for it for months…
I knew that this crystal would connect me powerfully to my angels and spirit guides and I was ready to receive their guidance…
I did an entire ceremony through smudging and prayer and set the intention for what I needed to focus on next…
I then connected with Archangel Metatron and I asked him to open my stellar gateway so that divine guidance could come flooding in as I sat in meditation with this crystal…
In the images I received I saw a book, an image of my body transforming into Shiva, and the image of a butterfly symbolizing the transformation…
So after that meditation I decided to write a book. I sat down to write the first chapter, a chapter on divine guidance…
As I was channeling I wrote the exact lines from one of my poems that I had written many years ago: “Trust yourself and you will go far, more than anyone else you know who you are.”
This really hit home and in that moment I thought to myself: “Do I need to write a poetry book?”
As I was pondering this question I decided to pull out my Archangel Power tarot deck. I shuffled the cards until one fell out and it was Leap Of Faith – Archangel Metatron…
In that moment I KNEW that this is what I needed to do…
So I went to work going through my collection of poetry that I had written over the last 5 years and compiled 33 poems into my first book Unity…
Everything behind the book was very intentional. I chose 33 poems as the master healer, and every section has 11 poems, the master teacher…
Originally I was going to release it as a children’s book but throughout the publishing process it became too difficult for me to use images so I transformed it into a paperback for teens and young adults instead…
It took me 9 months to create the final published work of Unity and it was quite a challenging process as a self published author to figure it all out. Now it takes me about 2 weeks from start to finish to compile my poetry and publish a new book…
When I released Unity I did a book launch at my local yoga studio that I was teaching at. To my dismay only one person showed up, my best friend, who had already bought a copy of the book…
At that point I was ready to give up, but during the time that I had spent getting the book ready for publishing I had already written the entire manuscript of 33 poems for my next book Ascension…
At that point I knew I needed to keep going regardless of anyone buying my books or not…
What I uncovered in this process is the power of creative self expression…
