What it’s like to be me
The life I’ve lived
Has changed the way I see

I used to be suffering
Stuck in pain and despair
So cold and alone
I felt like no one would care

But then one day
In a twist of fate
I went to a yoga class
And opened the gate

The tears were streaming
An endless flow
To forgive and surrender
And learn to let go

Of all the pain and torture
I held inside
The grip of the ego
My sense of pride

Sometimes in life
You have to face your fears
And have the courage to do it
With a face full of tears

It’s not easy
Letting go
But it’s easiest
When you trust the flow

And when you feel
Life’s too much to bear
Get down on your knees
Bow in prayer

We will always
Show you the way
To the beauty of a new dawn
A brand new day

Know that you are being guided
Along your path
By the light that shines
From Raziel’s staff

For he bears witness
From high above
And will teach you to find
Unconditional love

So that you can be
Happy and whole
To feel fulfilled
Is a wonderful goal

For us to get here
