The fear of death
Knowing that one day
This will be your last breath

Seeing your loved ones
Dropping like flies
It’s OK to release
Those tears in your eyes

Let go of the pain
Let go of the grief
For some of us the journey
Is very brief

It’s easy to wish
That we spent more time
Before our loved ones reunited
With the light of the divine

Cherish each moment
While you can
And trust that while they lived
They were fulfilling their plan

To do what they
Had set out to do
So that they could live
A life that is true

Unfortunately we don’t
Always control
When others choose
To release their soul

To let it fly
To let it go
These challenging experiences
Will help you grow

So that you can appreciate
What you’ve been given
Know that as you leave
All will be forgiven

Trust in spirit
To guide the helm
When emotions come forth
And overwhelm

There is nothing harder
Than letting go
And this is necessary
So that you can grow

By releasing attachment
You will come to find
You can release the shackles
Of the chains that bind

Keeping you stuck
Holding you back
What will it take
To get back on track

Life will never be
How it used to be
Find peace in the present
And set yourself free

When you hold on
With such a tight grip
You can lose yourself
And start to slip

It’s so easy
For us to attach
When it feels like we found
Our perfect match

Someone who loves us
Someone who cares
And it feels
Like our heart was theirs

Torn from your chest
When they choose to go
This experience will shatter
All that you know

And take you down
To the depths of the deep
Haunting your thoughts
Not letting you sleep

How can we learn
To find release
And give ourselves
Some inner peace

To let go of attachment
To the material form
And remember the space
Where life was formed

From the void there was
The spark of creation
This was created
Through the power of vibration

And as this vibration
Increased frequency
It created matter
That would become you and me

Can you connect
To your loved ones now
Tell them you love them
And show them how

You can connect
Even if they are gone
Their souls can still hear you
Even if they’ve moved on

And if they still exist
In their physical bodies
You will show them
How they can embody

Existing in
The present moment
This is all that’s needed
For your atonement

To feel balanced
And harmonious within
Find your centre
And what you believe in

Have the courage
To pray and to ask
For the universe there is
No impossible task

Then take the time
To sit and connect
Focus your energy
And begin to direct

Your thoughts, your energy
The way that you feel
The universe will show you
What is truly real

It lies beyond
Just what you can see
You will be given the power
To set yourself free

From all of the suffering
And all of the pain
All of the thoughts
That consume your brain

About why they chose
To let it all go
Sometimes we don’t
Get to know

All we can do
Is accept their choice
And trust they were guided
By their inner voice

Death is the biggest
Transition we face
When it comes knocking
Will you let go with grace

Of the journey
You’ve chosen to live
And all the ways
You can now forgive

It can be scary
To face your last breath
To let go of it all
And become one with death

For this transition

Having fulfilled your mission
