How can I choose
To practice love instead
Of being hateful, fearful
And full of dread

We all have

Caught in the muck
The branches and the trees
It can be enough
To bring us to our knees

And ask what we did
To deserve such pain
As we make the same choices
Again and again

Sometimes the universe
Makes it obvious and clear
Giving direct guidance
That is meant to help you steer

So that you can sail
The oceans untold
Transform your heart
Turn lead into gold

But you must trust
The voice inside
Follow your heart
Allow it to guide

Then you will shine
With untold wealth
Shed the ego
Discover the Self

And find inside
What you know is true
The source of infinite love
That lies within you
