Mama Bear
There’s a woman I know
They call her Mama Bear
Protector and guardian
With the world in her care
Never before
Have I met such a giver
Her heart overflows
Like a raging river
Spreading love and peace
Everywhere she goes
Into the deepest cracks
Of the iciest flows
A divine being
A warrior goddess of light
Her eyes glow like the moon
On a starlit night
Hiding mysteries and stories
Better left untold
She radiates like the sun
With a heart of gold
Standing tall and proud
Like a mighty cedar
Rooted in love
She’s a fearless leader
Always willing to help
Show others the way
Solid like a mountain
She does not stray
Her spirit calms and nourishes
Purified by the fire
Capturing the hearts of many
As the flames burn higher
A healer and a lover
A mother of the earth
Exploring the depths of Spirit
To find what life is really worth
Radiating calm and peace
Like the waves of an ocean
Her vibration speaks
To her well of devotion
An angel and a seer
A mother and a guide
She embraces this world
With her heart open wide
She’s wild and free
Like the wind in her hair
And that’s why they call her
Mama Bear
