How can I show others
The light of the soul
So they can go within
And become whole

Like the wisest sage
Patanjali
How can I teach them
What it means to be free

To find steadiness
And calmness of the mind
So that we no longer
Have to walk around blind

Completely consumed
By the maya of illusion
Is it any wonder
We walk around in confusion

Constantly living
In the vibration of fear
Keeps you a slave
Year after year

To the whims and fancies
That others will make
How can we know within
Which path to take

When you’re barely hanging on
By just a thread
Take a seat
And bow your head

Ask for guidance
And you’ll be shown the way
When you surrender in humility
Bow and pray

Trust the voice
That lies within you
Let love guide your actions
And all that you do

Then you will show others
Through love and grace
How they can cultivate
The inner space

Like the wisest sage
Patanjali
It’s time to rise
And be all you can be

Share the teachings
Of yoga and Truth
With those who will listen
The children and youth
