As the sun rises
And day begins to break
The Earth becomes alive
And creatures begin to wake

Reflections of light
Pass before my face
The wind wraps the Earth
In a loving embrace

As a breeze laps the curtails
Of a lone butterfly
Floating effortlessly
Into the sky

I realize how complex
Life can be
Infinite systems
Comprise reality

Yet how can it be
That all of this is here
We have been given so much
But it still isn’t clear

How all of this
Can exist as one
Perfect harmony
Under the sun
