Who ever told you
That you are not enough
Where do you go to hide
When life gets rough

Is it in the bottle
Or in the fridge
Or on a mountaintop
Climbing a ridge

We push the feelings down
We try to forget
We spend our whole lives
Living in regret

Feeling like we
Are not worthy of love
Not seeing the light
Sent from above

Purifying us
With it’s holy flame
Dissolving us
From this worldly game

So that we can serve
With love in our eyes
And let go of the past
As a part of us dies

No longer blinded
By the illusions of the world
You will find the truth
As the serpent is unfurled

Rising up
From the base of the spine
To the crown lotus
Causing you to shine

Brighter than the stars
That illuminate the night
You came to the planet
So that you could shine bright

To light the path
So that others can grow
You must share the truth
And all that you know

When you come to know God
Who lies within
You will absolve yourself
Of all you believe is sin

You will see yourself
Holy and pure
This will make you
Strong and sure

That the spirit of God
Lives in all things
When you see this light
You can spread your wings

And become a messenger
An angel of the Earth
Through unconditional love
You show others their worth

Leading us
To a new reality
That sees the dissolution
Of all this brutality

So that all beings can live
Eternal and free
When you come to know truth
Then you will truly see

The beauty that lies
In all of creation
So that you can evolve
And raise your vibration

And learn to move
With the holy source
It will allow spirit
To change your course

Living your life
Aligned with the heart
Sometimes requires
A brand new start

Don’t be afraid
To shed the past
It’s time to find
Peace at last

Know that you
Are always protected
When all you see
Is the light reflected

You will learn to feel
Whole and complete
When you bow in surrender
In a meditative seat

This will teach you
True humility
So that you can find
Inner tranquility

Surrender to God
Let go of control
In the light you’ll witness
The truth of the soul
